WHAT TO EXPECT
We believe that church should be an exciting passion filled place that expresses the life and joy we find in our Christian faith. Our meetings contain modern elements such a digital media, concert lighting and music from a live band. Sounds levels may be a little higher than in traditional churches. Our meetings last 1hr 30 mins and start and finish on time.
COMMUNICATION
We have a team of great speakers who share relevant and practical life affirming messages from the bible. We believe what the bible teaches and present these truths in an accessible easy to understand way. Messages are generally 30-35mins in length and are available as podcasts for download from our Life City app, iTunes or other providers.
FAMILY & KIDS
We offer a fun and creative programme for children aged 4-13yrs. Opportunities for your child to do arts & crafts, listen to bible stories, sing songs or simply play are readily available each Sunday. All of our teachers and helpers are fully DBS checked. We also offer a Creche for children aged 1-3yrs. These programmes run after the worship section of our service.
LIVE STREAMING AT LIFECITY
Like many churches today, we livestream our Sunday service. We film minimal footage of the congregation, focusing mainly on the stage area. Some congregational shots are taken from the back near the media desk, looking towards the stage, and therefore capture the congregation from the middle rows forward.
We have designated some non-filmed areas toward the back for anyone who prefers not to appear on camera. For those parts of the service that involve young children or sensitive, private matters, we do not film to ensure comfort and confidentiality. Thank you for your understanding and support as we share our services with those who cannot attend in person.
